It was a thrilling emotional ride and very satisfying. About halfway through the book, I got sad when I had to leave it for work. :). There's a nice surprise twist at the end I had heard that some of the scenes were set in South Gate, CA, where I was raised, so I wanted to read the book. I soon discovered that it is a science fiction story and I'm not a science fiction fan; however, I was intrigued by the story and wanted to find out how it all turned out. There's a nice surprise twist at the end. Very enjoyable!
