One of the coolest pop up books ever [[VIDEOID:mo9CSD8OEMLBFY]]This is one of the coolest pop-up books that I've ever seen in my life. It's both a pop-up book, a play mat, and a different story on each side. It's a very ambitious bunch of things to try to put in one book, and then to put into a box, but it actually works out pretty well. It's relatively sturdy, but as with all pop up books, it's only a matter of time before this gets destroyed. So, enjoy it while it lasts. The story is fun, but I felt bad for the pigs, who probably don't realize that they're going to be turned into bacon and pork cutlets, . I will say right off that I think this is a great concept but it lacked somewhat in its execution.Pros:1. look, the pop ups are gorgeous, and a couple even have moving parts2. playability. lots of pieces to play around with, and once you open them they stand decently well.3. encourages imaginative play.Cons:1. not much of a story, (seems geared towards a much younger crowd then could play with the book)2. reading the back of the book is difficult and not always intuitive as to how to open it.3. Poor box constru. . Poor box constru. "Great Combo" according to Susan Johnson. This is a nice pop-up book that folds out in a playmat afterwards. The sturdy book comes in a nice, colorful box that is great to keep everything in. My three year old grandson and I first read the book. The pop-ups were nice but there's not much of a story. My grandson enjoyed the pop-ups but the story didn't hold his interest so he was quite ready to convert it into the play mat. The play mat is really nice. The pop-ups really add a nice dimension and he enjoyed that. The book comes with cardboard figurines to use on the playmat. They are stored in an envelope in the
