Very hard sci-fi E Very much hard sci-fi - for better or for worse. A little too concerned with details over storytelling for my tastes. That said, it's fascinating, thought-provoking, and easily kept my attention throughout.. "Brilliant, fun, and educational" according to A Customer. I absolutely loved this book! I knew little about Quantum mechanics before reading this, and now I have a good understanding of the concepts covered in this book. I learned something, but I also had a great time reading the story.He develops some brilliant ideas, including neural mods that allow you to "program" your brain and run "apps" . "existential angst disguised as a novel" according to D. Bonar. It was OK. Lots of nice ideas I wish had been explored more. A procedural or detective story that actually remained a detective story, and still focused on the primed state, the mods, etc. could have been really good. The doublethink of the loyalty mod, and the choice of Karen were good. But it was dragged down for me by pages and pages o
