I think this is format is perfect for young children because it doesn't talk down to them, it doesn't dilute or distort, and it offers information in a way that is engaging without being taxing. It's our current go-to bedtime s. and this book is a hit with all of us (including the adults). The illustrations are gorgeous and the stories are simple yet convey the message that Jesus had intended. Great for younger kids just learning about their religion or in my case, for those a little older who need a more simplified version on which to cut their teeth. Even if you do not consider yourself a Christian or are not intending to teach, this is a lovely storybook to own.
