Please do not force the binding." Strange, right? When you get the book you'll see it's actually a paperback that has gray boards on the front and back covers, but the spine is of t. J. Boyd said Artist As Alien. The Reverend Howard Finster had the artist's need to express his soul. He proved that you don't need to be trained in the traditions of the visual artist to make art that speaks to both that need to create and the need to communicate, to link with, your fellow beings. The highest spiritual aspirations he possessed were the Christian ones he was raised with. But he saw and reported on levels of reality you and I can only imagine.
