and Summer Wars is my all time favorite movie so I was excited to get the manga The Manga version was actually made at the same time as the movie which caught me off guard, and Summer Wars is my all time favorite movie so I was excited to get the manga. That said, is the manga or is the movie better? well it's time to find out.First off the manga starts off differently from the movie, the movie starts with a description of OZ and the manga starts off with the main character talking to his friend.Kenji Koiso the main character is good at math and almost reped japan in a math competition. He gets a job from his senpai Natsuki to pretend to be her fiance. However he doesn't know about it. In the movie Kenj. unexpectedly perfect. I always thought that manga in general always had a pacing problem, where the passage of time was terrible. one minute you're at their school, turn the page and now you're at the beach! But summer wars is different it doesn't dwell too heavy on one particular genre there are elements of comedy, romance, and a bit of action -- but as I said, it's not extremely heavy on any topic.I've never seen the anime, but really, really enjoyed the manga. Timing was absolutely perfect, the comedy is golden, the art is well detailed and overall is a great read.oh, and the ending is satisfying !! I heard that there's and extra 2 pages in th. "Part 1 of an extended Version of the Movie" according to Kevin Jiang. I was hoping part one would be the movie, and part two would be a continuation. Both parts 1 and 2 are actually just the movie with more time for extra detailing. Even so, it's all pretty great. The movie was limited in how long it could be, so these two manga make up for that.In addition, part two has a very short little comic at the end detailing the two main characters' lives after the movie.Overall both are pretty good. I'd still like a story detailing what happens after the movie though.

Little does Kenji know what solving that code could lead toBased on the award-winning and top-selling animated film by Mamoru Hosoda!.
