"absolutely The one to get" according to dovetail. I've had vol 2 for years, it's now beat from use and I got this as a back up and because I never had vol 1. The Hal Leonard transcriptions that have been what's in print now for years are inaccurate JUNK IMO and these transcriptions as well as every aspect of the books are far, far superior and will get you as close to the real thing as anything out there. You will learn loads of cool new chords in the best possible context. I am stating this from a guitarists' point of view and not a keyboardist. H. R. M. Hartman said Don't look further;. This is by far the best book on Beatles sheet music there is.Where other books go as far as selecting some obvious hit songs, Mr. Okun has gone into the detail of finding ALL Beatles songs. This is what you need to get a grip on their '6"Don't look further;" according to H. "This is the Beatles Music Book You Want" according to Theseus. This it it. Volume 1 covers 1962-66 and it really is complete. The keyboard arrangements are about as good as you're going to find. Not fiendishly difficult, but not one of those awful, stripped-down simple versions. Once you master a song as arranged here you can goof around with it and make it yours. And you get guitar chords and tablature. And the first 110 pp are bonus materials: photos, interviews, discography, essays -- all surprisingly well-chosen!
