Tales From the Sea offers a unique collection of seventeen short stories loosely based on the author's experiences aboard two majestic cruise ships of the Cunard Line. Flint also spent two weeks aboard the Queen Elizabeth, a newer, more modern version of cruise ships, departing from Southampton, England, for a cruise of the Baltic Sea. He was inspired by the enchanting beauty of Stockholm, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Tallinn, Kiel, and St. Although the details of the deaths were vague, it was said they died of natural causes.
