Wonderful guide to homeschooling or parenting a schooled child This is a great resource. I checked it out from the library and immediately decided I had to purchase as a resource guide. It is primarily written for parents of schooled children but is also very beneficial to homeschooling parents as well. Very well written. Informative but not dry. Very useful.. "A wonderful guidebook!!" according to Amazon Customer. I picked this book up at the local library along with other books on homeschooling. No, this book isn't geared to homeschoolers specifically and it talks a lot about how to check on what your child's teacher is teaching and if their classroom in on track. However, it is just an amazing guide to all parents (homeschooled and public school alike) on subjects and school readiness, etc. I couldn't put it down!. Jeffersonian said A must for all parents.. This book delves into detail as to the information a child should know by specific grade levels. It covers all subjects, areas, and extra information to enrich your child's education and learning experience. Every parent should use it as a guide to supplement whatever is lacking in your current curriculum, or better yet, find a school who offers it all! I highly recommend it.
