A PERFECT SET OF CARDS BY A PERFECT AUTHOR This series of cards are the best for the USMLE ever, Fischer is such a great writer.. "Worthless" according to doctornewyork. I'm going to cut to the chase for those who know their time is precious.I scored in the 260s on Step1 and I want >270 on 2CK. I know which resources are time-worthy and which ones aren't. This one wasn't.Why I bought these flashcards:I'm currently going through Master the Boards-2CK (MTB-2), and I notice that the text is essentially just a circumlocutory way of teaching the best initial vs diagostic tests. I bought the diagnostic test flashcards because I was expecting there to be a PATHOLOGY/CONDITION on one side and the best initial/diagnostic tests on the other side. This. Great tool Kate I have all three sets of the cards. I think they are outstanding tool for the review. They have just the right amount of info, are super easy to use even on the go. You can just take a certain part of them and review for example on the train, bus while commuting. They are organized by disciplines so I used them after each reading from the book. I liked them a lot and they helped me a lot thanks to their question and answer format.

Conrad Fischer prepare students to answer “What are the most accurate and best initial diagnostic tests for a given disease?” as well as preparing them for the even more difficult medical licensing exams.A powerful study tool and valuable resource, these examination flash cards feature:* Crucial information for making correct diagnoses.* The most frequently seen diagnoses that appear on the USMLE Steps 2 and 3 exams.* Questions on one side with answers on the back.* A podcast by author Conrad Fischer, MD.* Enables you to easily “study on the go”Conrad Fischer, MD, is director of educational development for the Department of Medicine at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in New York City.  Dr. These revised and updated flashcards from medical educator Dr. Fischer is also chairman of medicine for Kaplan Medical, Teaching USMLE Steps 2 and 3, Internal Medicine Board Review and Attending Recertification, and USMLE Step 1 Physiology.  He is Associate Professor of Physiology, Pharmacology, and Medicine at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City. .
