Not awful Author needs to do a little more research if he's going to write military sci-Fi. Examples: rank structure oddities and customs/courtesies are out of wack, you can't tourniquet abdominal wounds, gets clock directions confused at times. Nonsensical tactics.Additionally, EMP is demonstrated to be effective at knocking out Alliance tech, but for some reason the protagonists never think to use it to schwack the zombied ARRs, freeing tons of additional bodies to help in the fight?Overall much better than most non-mil authors trying to write in this genre.. Resurrection and demise The enemy grows clones that infiltrate and deceive. Mitchell Williams (anybody reminded of Billy Mitchell?) Has to go back to Liiberty to rescue Origins memory being kept by a clone of Katherine (Christine), but she's been captured by Tetron who clones her. Machines may think faster and more logically than humans, but they don't have a chance against emotion.. "Old school military scifi reminiscent of Heinlein e.g. Starship Troopers" according to dan mathews. Some editorial issues that can be lived with. Author publishes own books I believe. Basic space marine story. Action and violence abounds throughout. Good concept that time in the universe repeats through a cycle of many years. Characters are realistic and actually bring the element of real human issues and emotions to the story. Not a bad yarn at all.
