Kenna I really liked this book because although it focuses mainly on Evan Morgan, it gives a lot of detail and focus on the other characters and their spiritual journeys as well as there search for true love. The histroy is probably my favorite thing about these books and they create an amazing back drop for these two families. I definitely recommend this book. However, reading the three before would be better. This does occur quite a few years after the 3rd one. It did seem to drag on so. Least favorite of the Wakefield Dynasty I wouldn't reccomend this as a good place to start the Wakefield Dynasty. The characters in this book seem to be disconnected from the previous books in the series, and there were too many Morgans and not enough Wakefields. I did like the part about Jenny's friendship with Nell, the famous mistress of Charles II, and the side plot about John Bunyan was fascinating.
