Old Book, Good Read! MeMoMaMa The Girl with the Silver Eyes was originally published in 1980 - thirty-six years ago!!! I read it quite a long time ago and thought no kids would be interested in such an old book, but I was wrong. I introduced it to a small-group book club in my 4th-grade classroom, and they loved the it!. Great story! L. Adkins I read this as a child, and was glad to find it again as an adult. Still a good read, though definitely YA work.. Kavita Teemul said Five Stars. awesome & captivating, both my daughter & I loved it
