I loved Godhead, I really did The Hades Contract is a spectacular follow up to Mooney's Godhead. Sure, we might get some background on Aphrodite that might cause us to completely reevaluate how we feel about her, something which this reader, to be honest, was saddened to find that there might be redeemable qualities in the super-villainess of the first book. But, favorite-character-revelations aside, this book does everything a sequel should. A stunning sequel in a fantastic series, I get pulled into The Last Olympiad more thoroughly with each new page. My favorite parts of this read involve Aphrodite, as she is such an iconic character and also a character who evolves and surprises greatly throughout the book. Hannah is also brilliant. Again I loved the setting of the great tree and was left in wonder at the end of book two. Mooney has a brilliant way of concluding books and keeping us hungry for more. Definite. A great follow up to Godhead that develops the existing characters A great follow up to Godhead that develops the existing characters while introducing a great villain with Hades. Recommended reading for people who like Greek mythology, X-Men or just good books.
