Predictable but enjoyable M. L. Gowland I enjoyed learning about life in Harare but the "mystery" seemed to obvious, to this Westerner. Still, the characters were likable and I was suprised to find the author is male. I had not heard him speak or seen a photo!. Enjoyably and insightful peek into a part of Mugabe's Africa Surprisingly enjoyable account about life in a west African countryWorts and all. The author is now a Scottish podiatrist.
