What happens when a sheepish knight and a not-so-fierce dragon fight for the very first time? Well, it?s no ordinary battle since the knight has to go to the castle library to learn about dragon-fighting and the dragon must dig through his ancestor?s things to find out how to fight a knight!?Spontaneity of line and feeling are backed by zesty colors and a jovial, tongue-in-cheek tone to which children can relate?A top springtime choice.? --Booklist?There?s a swirl of good-humored life to the book.? --The New York Times Book Review

The Knight and the Dragon Didn't Let Me Down! For Halloween this year we decided to make my 6 year old a knight and my almost 2 year old a dragon. We're big fantasy nerds so they really enjoyed the romanticism of it. We wanted to compliment their costumes with this book and we're very happy that we did! It's a story about a Knight learning how to fight a Dragon and a Dragon learning how to fight a Knight. What happens whe. Eh. Most of this story is communicated through pictures. It starts off with text and tells a cute story about a knight and dragon both preparing for battle, but then the text just awkwardly disappears. I would not recommend this book. The story is just ok and the pictures are mediocre in my opinion.. "Cute picture book" according to Chealsy. This book would be great for a 1 year old that only wants to point to pictures and ask "what is that?", but for a four year old it's a little dull. The illustrations are super cute, just not what I was looking for. It is more of a picture book than a toddler book.
