DESCRIPTION:
"This is a very well written textbook directed at the very best of the nation's undergraduates. The functional emphasis is a fine organizing tool and a good way to confirm the value of this course to students in a variety of majors. The suggested readings at the end of the chapter are also a great resource. The case selection is intelligent and sometimes humorous. The Central point is that this is an ideal text for a classroom with students comfortably in the top quarter of American undergraduates.""This text is among the best in case editing and presentation. This feature would be especially helpful in graduate (MBA) classes.""My favorite aspect of this text is its useful infusion of ethics throughout."
This highly effective text has chapters arranged in seven functional modules to emphasize how legal topics relate to business functions like marketing, finance, human resources, accounting, and manufacturing. Streamlined for easy readability, the text contains excerpted cases offering substantial portions of original language of the court. In addition, the text presents a strong emphasis on ethics, international law and environmental law as well as Internet applications to encourage students to use the Web as a resource.
A. McAdams said Manufacturing Reject. The book is a fine publication and the content is good, however the copy I paid $160 for new from Amazon had about "Manufacturing Reject" according to A. McAdams. The book is a fine publication and the content is good, however the copy I paid $160 for new from Amazon had about 25 pages falling out of the binding because of improper binding at the factory. The only reason I haven't sent it back was that I needed it to start class with. Someone needs to look into quality issues on this edition.. 5 pages falling out of the binding because of improper binding at the factory.
