Mr Philip C Veale said Couldn't finish it.. A real disappointment, one I didn't even finish. Each chapter is just a brief explanation of an episode, followed by a simplistic and monotonic statement that it supports conservative viewpoints. Read on and see how week after week, ‘Star Trek’ delivered solidly conservative political messages.. The original ‘Star Trek’ was a highly nuanced morality tale that just happened to be set in the world of science fiction, and as amazing as it may sound, it was also a deeply conservative work. Kirk as he struggles to solve questions of morality and deal with the social issues of the day
