Character and Story Issues I absolutely adore Christine Feehan, she is one of my favorite novel writers. However, with this book I was fairly disappointed from the start. Right from the beginning there isn't a lot of character or setting development. For the majority of the book I found myself questioning what was going on because it feels like the storyline wasn't wholly thought out. It's a far cry from all of her other novels for sure. I am still such a huge fan though! I just wouldn't suggest this one personally.. Suspenseful, yet full of love Biosbiz I generally avoid scarier books because they make my heart heavy. The Scarletti Curse was a perfect blend of mystery and love that made the reading pleasurable. I have the hard copy and electronic copy because I like to go back and reread it. Please keep in mind if you are an avid fan of Feehan, this is a different style of writing for her. I love her Dark Series and was even more impressed with her new Gothic novel.
