Harassment, courtrooms Lee Johnson I was reading this for the legal aspect of it, and thought this would be a bit boring in most of the plotline part. Totally wasn't expecting it to be this awesome, that's for sure! It was kinda sad for the main character, because throughout the book he just kinda dug the hole people were already making for him a little deeper. He's prideful, acts on his pride and on the moment without thinking about the choice or the consequences thoroughly, and ends up getting stuck in a tough situation after he's fi. "Tribute to "Thump"" according to Docprov. Avraham Azrieli writes another successful novel. The dialogue between the characters is tight and moving. "Thump" captures the essence of a strong man, beautiful women, and an entertaining yet intense story. It starts with a well-built African American pressing heavy weight dumbbells while his beautiful girlfriend is exercising beside him and cheering him on. The story builds up as tensions rise in a mix of business and sexual conflicts. The trial, which is at the heart of the novel, is compelling and. Great literature, this is not but it is a thumping good read a racy, raunchy odyssey tracing the rise, fall and, perhaps, redemption of an attorney in a prestigious law firm. His rise and his fall are both attributable to his mental and ah physical gifts. Office politics, backstabbing and a well-done court room scene keep the pages turning on this one. (Four stars only because I'm a hard grader.)
