Good Book of Paintings Good book for a study of the paintings of Edvard Munch. Paintings that I enjoyed seeing the iconic The Scream, and the Four Girls. Some seems a bit dark-so might be good for older kids to study. No text-no author life.. Is there More to Munch than "The ScreaM"? Don Kidwell Indeed there is! The very next painting"The Sick Child" definitely begs an emotional response as you can't help but feel for the woman with the head drooped to her chest. And while "Anxiety" is much in appearance to "The Scream" you only have to go back a few years to witness the dramatically different "The Seine at Saint-Cloud" which was a wonderful impressionistic landscape. If you're still doubting, have a look at the portrait "Consul Christen Sa. Kindle Art Museum at my fingertips I am going to Norway in June, my first trip out of the USA. I am excited about visiting Edvard Munch's Museum in Oslo. With my Kindle book in hand I can anticipate my pleasure in seeing his originals.
