I do have to admit that many of them had me saying "ahh" with a satisfied smile at the end of the story.Novellas are not always my cup of tea as they end quickly and the some stories of how quickly the characters came together can be very unrealistic BUT that was not the case with all of these stories. Some of the stories (such as The Karussell Painter) were very good with a lot of information and interesting hist. I enjoy historical fiction more so than modern day This book is a series of six stories, which take place in all different time periods and locations. I am always wary of these novellas because I have found that they always end too abruptly and the characters get together too quickly. Because this book has six authors and six stories, each one appeals to a different audience. Yes, some stories ended too quickly, some were a bit roughly written, and some were very in depth.
