After writing 2 glowing reviews for other books in the Pogue Press series I knew that the only way to go was down. Well, that might be a little harsh. I don't have any problems with this book by David Pogue himself, it's just I don't know how useful this book is. Microsoft really outdid themselves when they released Windows XP, and it was developed with the most novice of users in mind. Even at the low retail price that this book li. "Good book for beginners" according to J. L. Dolice. This is a good bood for beginners, something along the lines of teh "Dummies" book. I woudl ahve liked to get more in-depth information, particularly on the subject of Windows XP installation and the options available, but the book only includes information on the features of WX and not the installation.
