Seems like 40% of the book, but Sean keeps awfully busy with so many men after he decides he likes it. (Hate to give the book away).The thing that really confused me though was the religious element. Sean is portrayed as a Christian, yet it seemed in name only. I hope this isn't indicative of the way church going black brothas really actbecause I was disappointed in the infidelity, adultery, cursing, foul language, fighting, cruelty, lying . 0% of the book, but Sean keeps awfully busy with so many men after he decides he likes it. "Absolutely wonderful" according to M. Keith Jackson. Mike Warrens debut book, A Private Affair, had me captivated from the very first page. The story was interesting with several twists that I did not see coming. It was a quick read and definitely left me waiting and wanting for more. Great job.. "Not quite on same par as say E Lynn Harris but." according to M. Bell. This book was just aiight (means okay on the street). It is not anywhere near the talents of the late E Lynn Harris. The writing is kind of cheesy and sleazy. A few typos and grammar issues mar the intergrity of the author's ability to even be considered an author. OUCH! That said,( trust me, I could go on) if you want the real deal on DL/love triangle- type plots seek out E Lynn Harris and the up and coming writer with proven talent,Clarence Nero.
