Despite everything, we’re two of the lucky ones. I took the bait. That’s half the fun. Lou’s sexy curls. Honeybee’s pink nose. He still looks at me like I’m precious and unflawed. Every fight, every struggle, has been worth it. I’m stubborn, but what woman isn’t? She’s hard work and I love the overtime. He’s frustrating and unpredictable. Every day I thank God for her. No matter the hurdles, we’ve jumped them side-by-side. She’s the anchor that grounds me. The wake our love made is beautiful. I’ll love and protect her all the days of my life. We made it. She treats me like I’m the center of her world. Our future will be full of happiness. We always will.. She was a lucky catch. He is the wind in my sail. Now I know soulmates exist. Nothing has ever been easy for us. I believe in love at first sight. I love driving her crazy. No matter the obstacles, we’ve made it through together.
Beautiful ending to an amazing series! OMG! I did not want this story to end! I have enjoyed reading Blake and Casey's story so much! But I have to be honest and say that I am so thankful that I waited until all 3 books were released before I started reading any of them because I would NOT have been a fun person to be around if I had read them as they were released. I am afraid I might have had to hurt someone while waiting on the next books. But after reading Anchor, all the tears, cursing, nail-biting and hair-pulling, it was all worth it! I have to say that Mo is a one-of-a-kind author! The ride that she takes her readers on is better than any A. jill d said Pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for these two. Anchor is the EPIC conclusion to all the heartache/torment/angst that was books one and two of the Wake series. Blake and Casey have literally and figuratively been through the wringer and are due some happy times and author M. Mabie nailed it when she wrote this one.Blake is finally in the arms of the man she loves and everything is the way it was always meant to be but the only probably is Casey hasn't asked her to marry him and she's afraid he has changed his mind.Casey is wholeheartedly on board with making Blake his wife but he vows that she will heal physically and mentally from Grant's attack on her bef. "Anchored forever" according to Sasha Cavanaugh. Mo, what a great ending for these two amazing characters. This book and series will stick with me for always. It will be Anchored in my heart. This story represents real love. Love is not easy. Love is not always pretty. You have to work at it and communicate with your partner to preserve that special love. Love is the most precious thing of all, and if you can find it and keep it, there is nothing better than that. Mo, I would love to see more of this amazing couple!!! There were so many "little things" in this book that represented so much. A definite must read and I will definitely spread the word. Thanks M
