John J. Collins said Arte de Pajaros is just beautiful!. It was a joy to read Pablo Neruda's poetry in "Arte de Pjaros". Even if I weren't a bird watcher I would have enjoyed reading this beautiful book. The poems are presented in both English (on the left) and the original Spanish (on the right). Those poems that are about actual bird species also include a beautiful painting of the bird. Lynx Editions really outdid itself in the presentation - even the type setting is nice. The translation is very good - I tried reading most of the poems in Spanish first (my Spanish is just okay) and then read the translation and was ver. Great idea, glitches in presentation. David Larson Lovely images, great poetry, marred a bit by ghosting during the printing process. Astonishing to me since this is a very reputable publisher.
