This book is incredibly more difficult than the actual SAT test. They choose the most obscure words that would never make it on the test. And, yes, we have memorized about 800 challenging words that recur on the actual SAT so it is not for want of vocabulary on our part. Some of the answers are politically incorrect, which we know is never the correct answer on the SAT. Overall, the questions are challenging, but my students scored lower than they usually do simply because of some poorly-written questions..
