Nestler creates memorable characters Ashley Nestler is a young writer, but you would not know that from her writing. She deftly creates a whole new world, populated by memorable characters. Although this is her first novel, she masterfully describes a society that has some of the seeds of mistrust and mind control that gets the reader's heart pounding, which leads the reader to a point where the pages cannot be turned quickly enough. I found myself wanting to quickly find out where the plot was going, yet wanting the story to last forever. I found myself becoming very attached to some of the charact.
