Chris Fry said Transcribed the movie. It's really not a deeply thought-out book. It reads as if someone is describing the movie, almost scene by scene. It also takes about as long to read as it would to watch itso just watch it.. no gore or mass profanity like many horror books If you didn't see the original movie it would be more suspenseful. Dawn of The Dead is a great choice for school book report.. a great adaption to a horror icon Susanna Sparrow did a wonderful job with this book. While staying true to the characters of Fran, Roger and Peter, she also gave them a little something extra you can't see in the movie.She allowed us to hear their thoughts.By doing this the characters become even more real and I really enjoyed this book.To those who want to buy the hardcover it is only 6 by 9, so its not very big compared to most hardcover editions.No zombie fan can say they have it all if this book is't in their li
