Our department has used Triola's statistics book for our large,multi-section baby stats course for at least the past six years, andit was through simple inertia that we adopted the 11th edition. Usingthe earlier editions, I had almost begun to like Triola'sfollow-the-recipe approach, and was able to make the course useful tosom. His solutions manual is a disgrace as it doesn't answer even problems. Shame on you Triola, you did a disservice to the students f. Michael Muskalla said Wonderful Textbook. I had to take Statistics as part of my degree cirriculum. On top of that, I was taking this class distance learning style; no classroom teacher, no nothing. So I was really depending on this book to explain the concepts and formulas in an easy way that I could understand. Luckily, the book did just that.It is VERY well written
