Coffee Table Book or Fied Guide? That was the question which immediately crossed my mind as I unpacked this book: It is very large in format, yet very thin - and still a colorful hardcover. It is definitely not something you will carry around on the field, looking more like your typical coffee table or kiddies' book!Oh well, let's see the contents.On the plus side, there is finally yet another guide to the herpetofauna of a part of the exotic Indonesian archipelago.
