DESCRIPTION:
Divorce is tough for any teenager, but when your mother is a typical suburban soccer mom and your dad is a 300-foot-tall, city-trampling, battleship-devouring monster, things get even tougher. Featuring lots of extras, behind-the-scenes artwork by series co-creator Andy Kuhn and a pin-up gallery by many of today's finest funnybook talents, including Erik Larsen, Mike Wieringo, Keith Giffen, Derec Aucoin, Joey Mason, and Phil Hester & Ande Parks. This is Duncan Rosenblatt's reality. His mom wants him to get into a good college, his dad wants him to go into the family business: namely, conquering the earth and ascending to his rightful place as king of all monsters.
"This is a fantastic read for younger readers" according to Josh Matheny. I never watched the TV Show, unlike most reviewers who came here AFTER watching the show. This is a fantastic read for younger readers. Much like the Blue Beetle from DC, or younger versions of Spiderman from Marvel this is a teenager doing his best to fit in and be himself at the same time. He comes to terms with his two drastically different parents and who he is.It's a breath of fresh air, honestly. It feels really good to read, and I suggest anyone out there pick this up immediately.. need more money I believe in brevity. Firebreather is the second best book in its genre on the market. It would be the first if the creators had enough time and money to make a lot more of it. Buy this book.. A lot of fun Miss Kitty If you've seen the movie on CN then you really should check out the comics. This series is fun and exciting. It's a great read and a good addition to your comic book collection.
