Another reviewer complained about the text playing into stereotypes or being fiction I must point out that the book is originally from the late 1800's and the author is a well known folk story writer. He traveled extensively with gypsies and witches, whom passed information to him. As with the study of any folklore, one must stay aware that not everything may be fact, but has a purpose and gives many clues to the culture and views at the time.
