Filled with insight into the workings of the military during a time of war, Hesitation Kills offers a slightly different view of war than we see in the movies or on television. Unlike war on the silver scre. "Vividly explains what it's like to go to war" according to lindapanzo. This is an incredible book, the story of Marine 1st Lieutenant Jane Blair and her work during the Iraqi War on the front lines, in a "wing" unit that provided aerial scouting capabilities. She's got an interesting perspective as she first was an enlistee and then went to officer's school. Another interesting tidbit is that,. "Very well written book." according to Bella's Other Mom. This was an unique insight into the experience of a female marine officer during her deployment to Iraq during the second gulf war. She writes eloquently and honestly about her deployment.
