Not terribly enlightning. S. Adkins Not much here. This book was easy to understand, but my goodness, if you don't already know this minimal amount of information you're in sad shape. Obviously I will need to get a much more detailed book that delves into federal loans versus a bank loan, benefits and drawbacks to both, that sort of thing. This book was fine and certainly a fast easy read, but an extremely watered down generic overview.. A great resource for parents and students We all know college isn't cheap so I wanted to learn as much as I could about the best ways to afford it without compromising my money and savings. This book gives a great introduction into how to do just that and taught me about the different options such as grants and loans that are available. No way my future aren't going to college now!. waste of time Colleen J. Marsini Absolutely of no value. It is a pamphlet on completing the FASFA and did not provide complete information. I wish I could get a refund
