She read it in one night, she just wouldn't put it down. It is a good transition from picture to chapter books because it is engageing and it has plenty of colorful pictures to look at. My daugher typically only reads books about dinosaurs, so it is great when I can find something different for her to read that she likes and doesn't require bribery to get her to read all of it. Of all the Wind Dancers books, this is her fave. She's read it a few times already, and she doesn't like to read all that much, so that's a big plus. We love all of them though.
