it can be a bit wordy but I felt it did an better job than a lot of the other textbooks I Jesse Finley The book was written from an interesting perspective, being from an information science series, it can be a bit wordy but I felt it did an better job than a lot of the other textbooks I have used. The only reason I don't give it a five is because of the formatting of the text, I felt that the paragraphs were a bit long and the text in the book had a tendency to be large walls of text that weren't spaced out en. It's shallow and not very kind to the reader. I'm disappointed in this book, so far. The author introduces terms without much definition. For example the section "Routing and Subnet Masks" is opaque. Never does the author give a definition of "subnet". He does offer an example of a "mask" as being like masking tape to block something out. This is no help as it is obvious and does not define a "subnet mask". The problem seems to be that the author does not
