"Good pocket guide" according to A Customer. This is a nicely organized guide geared for the beginner to intermediate level investor. It is clearly written and gives most of the more solid and less risky principles of investment. The most important contribution this book gives is that it clearly shows how to evaluate the profitability of a company in detail. Whatever kind of investor you are, if you don't know how to do this then scratch the word investing and use gambling to describe your stock . "Keep in Mind You Will Compete with Experienced Traders" according to SmallCapHunter. This book covers the basics but frankly you are going to need more in depth trading strategies to succeed, especially if you want to make short term trading / investing with small cap and micro cap stocks.Trading small cap stocks is challenging by nature and the stock market doesn't care if you are experienced or a newbie stock trader. The opportunities are the same for all of us, so either youre going to make money or you are going to lose it in favor. Investing In Small-Cap Stocks Hated the book ! The book overstates the obvious and is written on a first grade level. If you know nothing about stocks than maybe this book is for you. The book was a waste of time and money for me.
Graja is executive markets editor for Bloomberg magazine and Bloomberg Personal Finance magazine.
