Southern Magnolia said this was very confusing to use, the songs did. this was very confusing to use, the songs did not match the pages and youâ never knew where it was going next. Not happy. Jolly Songs HRiley I have been using the Jolly Songs CD for years. My kindergartners love the songs and they memorize letter sounds very quickly with them. We do one new letter sound each day starting on the second day of school. The only reason I did not give the review 5 stars is because the book is small,not a big book. Jolly Jingles is in big book form but I don't l. Russian Postman said Excellent tool for learning phonics. Although I'm not impressed with the illustrations, the children do like them. The short songs about phonics set to classic children's melodies ("Skip to My Lou", "Farmer in the Dell", etc.) help both younger children learning to read and older ones who have struggled to remember basic phonics. The only negative side effect is that adults will also end
