DESCRIPTION:
fan of John Byrne's work at Marvel is a great showcase of that I'm a huge fan of John Byrne's work at Marvel is a great showcase of that. Some reviewers are mentioning the lack of certain Byrne material, but his run on Fantastic Four is already contained in 2 omnibus volumes, his X-men work is collected in the Uncanny X-men omnibus Volume 1, and his Avengers work gets an omnibus later in 2016. Plus, Byrne's Alpha Flight run has been announced as an omnibus for January 2017.Putting everything in one book is impossible, but I'll gladly take several thousand pages' worth of Byrne omnibus books!. A STROLL ACROSS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE!!!. Very well true believers, here is another supreme output from Mighty Marvel which is well worthy of some comments and here is my personal reflectionsI am a very big fan of Mr. JOHN BYRNE!! his style of ART and story telling, especially his narrations is simply mind boggling!! a true standout!! Mr. JOHN BYRNE is truly a SUPERTALENT!!and his work is indeed PARAMOUNT!!and historically significantsome of Marvel's greatest moments are manifested by Mr. BYRNE and had stood the very rugged test of time itself and had set the standard for which other stories are measuredHis contributions to the Marvel Universe is truly incrediblea tremend. Let's get to the point: I was hoping for this to be the first of - at least - two volumes collecting the entire less known works for Marvel since the 70's. But no. All indicates that this is a SOLO collection. So, that being said, and let's never forget that Byrne has worked in almost every Marvel comic book since his debut, i'm sad that some of them are missing here. Here is a small list:1) His complete run on IRON FIST"Far from a complete collection of Byrne's less known works for Marvel" according to RogBald. "MARVEL UNIVERSE BY JOHN BYRNE OMNIBUS is full of very nice stuff." -- Kurt Busiek"A massive collection. I'd already read most of these stories, some of them numerous times, but they still hold up, and still entertained me immensely. The mid-70s to early 80s remains my favorite Byrne era and it is nicely covered here. The inclusion of his complete 70s runs on both Avengers and Captain America are highly appreciated." -- Joe Castro"There is some exceptional reading here taken as a whole, it is a strong celebration of John Byrne's contributions." -- Robert Greenberger"My love for the work of John By
