You will not be disappointed with this book. There are new characters which add even more adventure than the first book. The author does an excellent job allowing you to experience the journey of the major characters. You will receive answers to some questions. I loved what the author did in Mirror in Time. Can't wait for the third book to come out. John R. Terrell The twists and turns of the characters in Mirror in Time kept me guessing "What's going to happen next?". I love how the author kept me engaged in the relationships and trying to guess the connections. Jacqueline Johnson outdid herself with her sequel to Test of Time. I couldn't put the book down and had to find out what would happen next. I am ready for the third o. "just what I like." according to Cindy Wooten. Quick, as described, just what I like.
If you haven't read the first book I suggest you do, but if it's hard to get your hands on it, then go ahead and start with Mirror in Time. Indeed, he must be humored to the point of fake marriages and convoluted schemes with the single purpose of making him happy. The tension that is always there between Nash and Erich, though they are the very best of friends, will keep you reading to the end. The king is the position you want to occupy in a feudal society. The only position that beats it is God and it has been a while since that position has been available in any kingdom. Johnson writes action like a combat veteran. Johnson. It's not the most efficient form of government but it is by far the most fun. This is an exciting and fun world. But I found myself wanting one for them.. I'll go out on a limb and say it. Assassins, war, magic, and plenty of arm to arm combat make Mirror in Time one heck of a fast paced fantasy adventure. 5 stars!R
