Musnet is a must read As a fan of Monet and modern art, I really enjoyed this book! The author took me on a journey with an adorable mouse, while teaching bits and pieces about the elements of painting. I enjoyed the nod to Monet's artistic style and even some of Monet's specific pieces. It makes a beautiful backdrop to a sweet, well-paced story. I'm looking forward to the release of the second book in this series!!!. tiny mouse, big impression! Josh B Fantastic and enjoyable story for both kids and adults. Beautifully illustrated, wonderfully written. It reminds me a little of Disney's Ratatouille, but with Impressionist painting instead of cooking. Possibly a sneaky way to introduce and teach kids about Impressionism, which was of course invented by French painter Claude Monet in the mid to late 19th-century.
