This is a great resource for primary teachers who would like explicit information on how to do a word wall and use many activities for using word families, etc. to teach phonics. But don't bother waiting for this book to be available again. Get the 3rd edition! It's worth the extra money. I purchased the 2nd edition several months ago, but when I examined the 3rd edition at the library, I noticed there seem to be many more activities and games for teaching phonics. This book gives step by step, easy to follow explanations of practical phonetic activities that can be used in the classroom.
