One of my favorite books as a kid One of my favorite books as a kid. This is why I bought it for my 8 year old grandaughter. She was tired when we started reading it together and she didn't seem as taken with the storey as I had been. Though I am hopeful that when she comes to visit next time she will ask to read some more. If not, I love owning this book for myself.. For young readers Bought this book for my 7-year old daughter. She enjoyed reading it and thought the story was funny. She has no trouble following the story and was able to finish the book in 3 days. Good summer reading!.
