DESCRIPTION:
For beginners it provides an excellent introduction to the fascinating field of MBE crystal growth.' Chemistry World . Review of the hardback: 'For MBE molecular beam epitaxy experts this book brings a concise and in depth description of the most salient features of modern MBE growth
Book likes new It is an used book, but just likes new. I am glad to have it. It is a really good book to introduce REED.
First, the principles of electron diffraction are explained, with many examples of RHEED patterns described for beginners. The second part contains in-depth descriptions of RHEED theory. Reflection high-energy electron diffraction is one of the most powerful tools used in surface structural analysis to monitor epitaxial growth. This book serves as an introduction to RHEED for beginners and details experimental and theoretical treatments for experts. Finally, applications of RHEED are explained with many examples.
