However, I have found none that compared to this intelligently written book that discussed the importance of strength training in one's OVERALL health, nor has any book given such a clear example of WHY bodybuilding can be such an important path to a person's MENTAL, health and out. Great holistic look at bodybuilding Alan Dutton I give this 4 stars, This is an older book, and has some really great information, geared for those interested in bodybuilding. However, there are not as many specifics as I thought there would be There are no training plans per se, but Hatfield talks about his "scientific method" , and how the training is based around principles and science.A great read for anyone interested in lifting
