M. H. Catholic Worker said A POORLY WRITTEN BOOK ABOUT A MODERN TRAGEDY IN THE VATICAN. The author of this book writes so poorly that at first I believed English was his second language. The editing makes this book even more difficult to read. There is some good information for the patient reader, who also must slog through the author's rhetoric and emotionalism. I do not recommend the purchase of this book except to give to a library for research and documentation purposes.. "What would Jesus think and do?" according to DOC. There is no more mysterious yet eternally impacting organization than the Catholic Church. For the non-Catholic, she is seen as a huge conglomerate of buildings, prelates and excessive layering of her ranks with a top-heavy emphasis. Our separated brethren may have more insight than we realize since their concentration is on Christ alone. Yet, they too have their empire builders complete with hand-made suits, lavish mansions and all the trimmings. One can hardly watch a 'televangelist' or some other 'religious' program without numerous offers to purchase or requests for donations or both. So, the church in general . "Murder in the Vatican" according to Roger W. Winship. Fascinating description of events surrounding John Paul. However, I do recommend a careful proofreading before reprinting. There is a difference, for example, between "prostate" and "prostrate." Other errors as well distract from reading.
