{review} {My Thoughts} – In this last book Roscoe ends up in time out for not being honest to his sister and his parents. It’s about a pumpkin weight guessing contest at the local book store. While they are there his sister finds a kitten. His sister really wants the kitten but he tells her he overheard someone saying the kitten already had a home and of coarse that wasn’t the truth and he ended up getting into trouble. This is the last book in the series as far as I know. I . Great starter book Bjohnson My son loves this series. It is a great for those beginning to read chapter books. Chapters are short and he enjoys the sense of accomplishment when he finishes. We have enjoyed reading several in the series and have begun to recognize the similar structure the author uses with each book which is helping my son develop his writing as well.Storyline begins with Roscoe in time-out, and then the bulk of the story explaining how he got there.i like the hidden lesson within the story. My . Jenny Simmons said We need more Roscoe. Oh my it can't be over. My boys love these books they are the reason they now love reading! I bought these off of kindleOn a fluke that turned into a turning point in my boys education.my boys are 7 years old (yes twin are amazing) and just got into reading and neither if them could stop at each chapter they would just beg me to go on. Their interest in these books got them interested in reading chapter books and their teacher us super proud! Thank you Katherine Applegate!
