My Great Niece and her little brother are going to love it as their mom reads it to them. Her book is also personalized and signed by the author.I have owned rescue dogs, and boy does this story hit home. The book is well written and great quality, from. "Sashi hits the jackpot" according to constance bylsma. This is a great book for many reasons. First it deals with rescue which is a great way to introduce children to the rescue possibility. Second it deals with the fact that Sashi when rescued was not perfect, she had not been trained was scared of everything. The book goes on to explain what was done with Sashi to help her become a great dog. Ii loved the story. It is a good read to a young child but an even better read it by myself for an older chil.
