Max builds a Viking ship with the help of his parents and Raggy.The next day, they are about to launch their ship when Raggy is whisked away by a vulture. I won't give away the plot, but I can say Raggy will encounter a Ninja, and a helicopter bef. Werner Stejskal said Rabbit adventures. This is the first book of a new series with a toy rabbit having adventures. I am very impressed by the general idea and set-up of this first book. I love the double story line with the main actors and the ants supplementing the story. This book will hold the interest of small children and has enough substance for early readers as well. The illustrations are colourful and have many points of interest, which will satisfy viewers with higher expectations. Good job, Melinda!. Fun story This is a fun story written in comic book style. The illustrations are very attractive and bright and the text and speech bubbles are a nice clear, very readable size and font style. It's a very engaging story and young readers are sure to love Ragnar - and those mischievous, hilarious ants! Comic style stories are often good at drawing more reluctant readers into reading and this fun story with educational element would be great for that.
Most of the cartoon gang characters are based on "real" members of Melinda's cuddly toy family. (Drawing can be especially challenging, as she needs to keep the iPad steady by balancing it with one leg up in the air - much to the amusement of her family!)
